Three Principles of Subtraction Design
- The Decision Fatigue Rule β every feature creates a decision point. Reduce features = reduce friction to stillness.
- The Boring Product Principle β a meditation app should feel boring. If it is exciting, it is designed for engagement, not stillness.
- The Core Experience Test β for every feature request, ask: does this bring the user closer to stillness?
