Hi everyone! π
I have some thoughts that I want to share about AI.
The IT world has always been changing, but in the last couple of years, it has completely changed, and nobody knows what the future holds. Nowadays, vibe coders create millions of SaaS projects, which isn't really a bad thing. People who don't know programming can now create products. However, it's really sad that a couple of years of learning now seem pointless to some.
Right now, I just don't know what to expect in the future. Do we still need junior developers in 2026 or not? Job postings show that we don't. IT learning is still a good idea in 2026? That's a hard question. Maybe AI will replace all of us one day.
But maybe AI is not that bad. AI has created new job positions, for example AI Prompt Engineer, etc. Also, AI servers where it runs cost billions and investors keep pouring money in, but there hasn't been any profit yet. And someday investors might just stop pouring money into AI. Can this happen in the future? Maybe AI will just disappear or stop progressing.
Nowadays, we have so many different opinions about AI, but we will see what happens in the future.
What do you think, guys? π€
